1. What services does Party Play’s Movie Nights provide?
- Party Play’s Movie Nights offers a complete outdoor movie screening experience that includes a projector, screen, speakers, and comfortable seating like luxe bean bag chairs.
2. What is the recommended start time for a movie night?
- For the optimal movie-watching experience, we recommend starting the movie/watch party after sunset or when daylight has dimmed. While our projector equipment is of high quality, projection visibility will not be as luminous during daylight or in brightly lit conditions. If you are planning a daytime movie event, ensuring ample shade is necessary to enhance screen visibility. Please note, Party Play’s Movie Nights is not responsible for diminished projection quality due to inappropriate start times or insufficient shading during daytime events.
For the styled package, a Party Play staff member will arrive 45 minutes to 2 hours before the rental window to set up, and return 15-30 minutes after the rental window to take down. Please let us know if there are any special considerations regarding your event, and we will be happy to find a solution!
3. What do I need to do before the movie night?
- Please ensure the setup location is clear and accessible two hours before the scheduled event start time. Confirm that a stable Wi-Fi connection and an electrical outlet are available for our use.
4. How can I prepare the area for set up?
- Remove any obstacles that might hinder the installation of the projector, screen, and seating. If you have pets, ensure they are kept in a separate area. Additionally, please ensure that the driveway is clear to facilitate unloading and setting up the equipment.
5. Do you offer any additional equipment for rent?
- Yes, we have additional equipment available such as a popcorn machine, cotton candy machine, snow cone maker, a s'mores maker, and a hot dog roller. These can be rented for an extra charge and are also available on the website under Food and Drink Station, or through the search bar option.
6. What is your cancellation policy regarding deposits?
Cancellation Procedures
Cancellations or rescheduling must be made by speaking directly with a Party Play Rentals representative during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Voicemails, text messages, or emails will not be sufficient for changes or cancellations. Messages received outside business hours will be addressed on the next business day. Cancellations are not recognized until confirmed by a Party Play Rentals representative.
7. What happens in case of bad weather?
- If adverse weather conditions like rain or high winds are forecasted, and we determine that these conditions could pose a risk to the safety of the event, you can choose to either reschedule your event to another date or receive a full refund.
8. Are there restrictions on where I can place food and drinks during the event?
- To prevent damage to our equipment, we request that no food or beverages be placed near the projector or sound system. Please enjoy your snacks and drinks in the designated eating areas away from the equipment.
9. What is your policy on pets and smoking near the setup?
- For the safety and cleanliness of the setup, pets are not allowed near the bean bags or equipment, and smoking is prohibited near the furniture and electronic devices.
10. Am I responsible for cleaning up?
- You are responsible for general cleanup of the area, such as disposing of any trash or clearing away food and drinks. We will handle all the equipment-related aspects like the lounge area and screen.
